Dear Friends,
Please come this April to a retreat at Thich Nhat Hanh’s Deer Park Monastery in California entitled Earth Holding and Protecting: An Engaged Buddhist Theme Weekend. At the event you will find nourishment, support and strength as you meet brother and sister Earth Holders working to transform planetary suffering around the globe.
This is a gathering for mature spiritual practitioners who are already engaged in earth-healing actions in professional or volunteer lives. It is a time for you to connect deeply with yourself and nature. It is an opportunity to look deeply into your volition and ways to continue.
Dharma Teacher Thay Phap Ho and Order of Interbeing members Nomi Green and I will lead and facilitate a number of special sessions during the weekend. At other times, participants will flow in the stream of the monastery’s regular schedule, enjoying sitting and walking meditation, and mindful meals with the larger community of practice.
Follow the link above to learn more about who can attend, reading requirements, and how to register. Sign-ups begin after February 1st.
With a bow,
Heather
